Post–Match Analysis

India vs Pakistan - The El-Classico of cricket, it's always incredible to watch an IND-PAK, especially in a multinational tournament. The atmosphere is always tremendous whether it's inside the ground or outside the court amongst the fans the 12th man of the arch-rivalry. Everyone stuck till the last moments of the match. The beauty of gentleman's game- Cricket and the whenever its the might arch-rivals met IND-PAK. It's always delightful to watch a match between INDIA and PAKISTAN, especially as a huge fan of cricket. The kind of aura it created among the fan they forget about everything and just stick to their T.V sets, Mobile, Laptops, or wherever they got a chance to watch the match. The tense moment between the fans is always incredible to watch. Especially the Mauka-Mauka Ads.

                                     India won by 5 wickets against their might arch-rival Pakistan. It was a nail-biter match, ending at 19th over with just 3 balls in spare. A delightful and unforgettable match as always the nailbiter and rose of the heroes Hardik Pandya, The swing-king Bhuvi, King-Virat. And as a cricket fan, I would like to appreciate Naseem Shah for the way the bowl and fight against injury at crucial moments of the match. So let's quickly move on to a detailed Team analysis of the Match.

Pakistan:

Batting:

• Pakistan got a slightly slow start after being put back by Swing-king Bhuvi who dismiss skipper Babbar 10(9) on a short bowl and announced his comeback to conquest the seat for the upcoming T-20i WC 2022 in Australia.

• Fakhar Zaman 10(6) got out early and Rizwan 48(42) was struggling against Indian bowlers and played a crucial knock by short unplayable beauty by Hardik Pandya. Later followed by Iftikhar 28(22) and others.

• Pakistan bundled up for 148 in 19.5 over thanks to some blows by S. Dhani 16(6) and Haris Rauf 13(7).

Bowling:

• They got to a great start after Naseem Shah the new sensation of their fast bowling made KL Rahul 0(1) on duck and almost got Virat on duck who was dropped by Fakhar Zaman, two balls later. It would be a great start as a recap of T-20I WC 2021 at the same venue.

• The mighty Duo of Rohit-Virat was struggling to score and Rohit was 12(18) by Nawaz followed by Virat 35(34) and Surya 18(18) bowled by Naseem Shah.

• But failed at the end as Babar failed to utilize their bowler and left with Nawaz for 20th Over

Conclusion:

• Pakistan duly depends upon their Top-3 Babar, Rizwan, and Fakhar and neend a good middle order batsman and a finisher to strengthen their batting.

• On Bowling, their fast bowler is always good at powerplay but at middle or slog over spinner failed to build pressure and take wickets on crucial time.

• They need a quality wicket-taking spinner.

• Need a mighty all-rounder like Hardik, Sakib, Jaddu, and Stokes to win single handily by themselves.

  
  
  

INDIA:

BATTING:

• India got to a bad start as KL Rahul 0(1)  goes on golden duck by Naseem shah. and Virat survive two balls later dropped by Fakhar Zaman.

• Rohit 12(18) was struggling to score a got out by Nawaz on a bad shot just after hitting a six followed by Virat 35(34) and Surya 18(18) bowled by Naseem Shah. 

• Virat 35(34) and Jaadu 35(29) some crucial runs under pressure.

• A great knock by Allrounder Hardik Pandya 33(17) who hit a 6 to seal the match in the last over to seal in the match in style.

• Jaddu and Hardik build a good partnership to ensure a win for India.

BOWLING: 

• India got to a good start by Bhuvi (4-0-26-4) by keeping it tight a dismissed Babar 10(6) to give an early blow to Pakistan. 

• Later followed by Avesh took Fakhar Zaman 10(7), who has always been a concern for India in Multi-national Tournaments.

• Indian bowlers keep it tight and take crucial wickets at regular intervals.

• The Pacers took wickets on the short ball is always delightful to watch. India got 5 wickets on a short ball. A great game plan and is well excavated by bowlers.

CONCLUSION:

• ICT is obsessed with KL Rahul although he got a good record of 140+ strike rate but always failed in crucial matches, especially against Pakistani Inswinging bowlers.

• They could try Virat-Rohit as Opener and replace Rahul with Hooda/Pant for the rest of the matches who can be used as a flotter as well.

• India got a great pair of all-rounders and Finishers like Hardik Pandya, Jaddu, and Karthik.

• They can try Dhawan/Gill/Ishan as impulsive and explosive openers in upcoming WCs or other multi-national tournaments instead of KL Rahul.

• Dhawan provides crucial experience and stands against Left handed fast and swinging bowlers, which has always been a major concern for India
